A centrifugal fan is based on the principle of converting kinetic energy into potential energy. It uses a high-speed rotating impeller to accelerate the gas, then decelerates and changes the flow direction inside the fan housing, converting kinetic energy into pressure energy.
The impeller generates centrifugal force during rotation, throwing air out of the impeller and collecting it in the casing to increase pressure, which is then discharged from the air outlet. After the air in the impeller is discharged, a negative pressure is formed, which sucks the external gas to supplement the fan.
Components of centrifugal fan:
1. Shell
The casing is one of the main components of a centrifugal fan, which is used to collect the pressurized gas and send it into the flow channel. The casing is usually made of corrosion-resistant and durable materials, such as aluminum alloy frame structures, and its surface may also have a layer of spray protection to enhance its heat and moisture resistance.
2. Rotary components
The rotor component is the core part of a centrifugal fan, which includes the main shaft, bearing transmission mechanism, and electric motor. The function of the rotor component is to convert the kinetic energy of the electric motor into the kinetic energy of the gas, thereby achieving the pressurization and transportation of the gas. In order to ensure the stable and dynamic balance of the rotor components, it is necessary to carefully design and manufacture them.
3. Impeller
The impeller is the main component for transmitting energy in a fan, consisting of a front disc, a rear disc, blades, and wheels. According to the relationship between the blade shape of a centrifugal fan and the direction of the air outlet and impeller rotation, it can be divided into three types: backward, radial, and forward. The design of the impeller has a significant impact on the performance of the fan, and a reasonable design can reduce noise and energy loss.
4. Bearings
The function of bearings is to support the rotor and ensure that it can rotate smoothly. At the same time, the bearings can also adjust the radial and axial forces generated by the rotating rotor to ensure the normal operation of the fan.
5. Sealing components
The function of sealing components is to prevent gas leakage between stages or outward leakage. The inter stage seal is mostly a labyrinth type gas seal, which can effectively reduce gas leakage and improve the efficiency of the fan.
6. Lubrication device
The function of the lubrication device is to maintain the normal operation of the fan. It usually includes components such as oil tank, oil pump, oil cooler, etc., which are used to provide appropriate lubricating oil for bearings to reduce wear and prolong their service life.
7. Motor
The centrifugal smoke exhaust fan box adopts the Y series three-phase asynchronous motor, which has the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving, good performance, low noise, and small vibration. The motor is the power source of the fan, which converts electrical energy into mechanical energy and drives the rotation of the fan.
8. Fan
The unit of the centrifugal smoke exhaust fan box adopts a complete set of imported brand double inlet centrifugal fans. This type of fan has the characteristics of high efficiency and low noise, and is suitable for situations that require high efficiency and low noise environments.
