Axial flow fans are widely used, that is, airflow in the same direction as the axis of the fan blades, such as electric fans and air conditioner outdoor fans, which are axial flow fans. It is called "axial flow" because the gas flows parallel to the fan shaft. Here is a summary of the maintenance and care of axial flow fans:
1. No fault operation, only when the fan equipment is completely normal.
2. Regularly check whether the fan blades are loose and whether the gap between the blades and the wind tube is normal.
3. Regularly check the tightness of the bolts connecting the motor and the casing, and check whether the vibration damping seat and the foundation connection are intact.
4. Regularly clean the dust and dirt on the surface of the blades.
5. Regularly replace the grease for the motor bearings, generally once every three months, or replace the grease according to the actual situation.
6. If the fan is found to have abnormal sounds, severe heating of the motor, live shell, switch tripping, and cannot be started during operation, it should be stopped and checked immediately. In order to protect lives, maintenance is not allowed while the fan is running. After maintenance, a test run should be carried out for about five minutes to confirm that there are no abnormalities before starting the machine.
